Going to London


On the 29 of August, my mother, my godmother and my godmother's two nieces went to London for the day.

The reason for our visit was to watch Dreamgirls at the Savoy Theatre.https://www.thesavoytheatre.com/

We got to London early, so we walked along the river Thames and the Southbank.  We all needed to go to the toilet, so we went into the restroom at The Savoy Hotel, they were very posh!
 

We even saw Micheal Jackson on the Thriller bus☺.

Then it was time for the main event DREAM GIRLS!!!  The show was awesome.  My favourite part was when Effie White sang "I am telling you, I'm not going"  I don't know where she got the energy from, it was amazing and she got a standing ovation.
By the end of the show, we were all really hungry so my godmothers two nieces and I went to Nandos, while the grown-ups went to eat next door at Wahaca https://www.wahaca.co.uk/
Everyone enjoyed their meal as usual.
My aunt who lives in London met up with us as well, to say hi and collect some food we had brought from Birmingham for her.
Dessert time, yes!!  My aunt took us to a frozen yoghurt shop called Snog 😂 http://www.ifancyasnog.com/#home

I had hazelnut frozen yoghurt with Oreo toppings!!

                 
Finally, our day in London had come to an end.  It was a long journey home.

Braces!

Hey guys, It’s your girl TJC here and today I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have to get four of my teeth extracted, this is because I have too many teeth in my mouth 😩.  So after I get my teeth extracted I am going to have braces fitted. I will have my retainers fitted on the 4 th of March 2019.   I have been on the waiting list for a very long time - about two years, so I’m happy to get the process started.  The good news is that my school has given me a Spring challenge. It’s a bunch of activities that have to be completed by the Easter half term break. We get to choose three activities. congratulations

I know it's been a while but I've been busy settling into high school. Guess what guys? I've finally collected my grade one certificate. Hard work and dedication = Distinction! I've started guitar lessons at school with a guy called Tom, so far so good, hopefully, I'm on my way to a grade 2 distinction next year.  As long as I continue to practise, practise, practise as my mum keeps telling me. On Thursday my mom and I went to The Beefeater on Hagley Road  https://www.beefeater.co.uk/steak-restaurant/West-Midlands/Duck-Edgbaston.html I was so hungry I FORGOT to take a picture but here's a little photo of my plate, when I remembered to take a picture.  I had a chicken burger, chips and corn on the cob, which was delicious and for dessert, I had pancakes, sorry again, but it was so yummy I forgot to take a picture. Latest update

Hey guys Here's a quick update on what I've been up to. On Wednesday Sam called, you know the guy from CBBC.  Sam and another producer skyped me and my mum.  We went over my application they asked loads of questions and tested me on my knowledge of CBBC TV shows and celebrities. I did pretty well and got most of the questions right, so let's wait and see what happens next. On Friday I went back to Makerlab.  This week I drew sketches of trophies, which I will eventually create.  I used a Mac computer to make my sketches 3D and polish the sketches up a bit. During the next sessions I will add a background to my sketch.  It's a long process but, a very interesting one. I was given information about a website to look at called Fusion 360, which is similar to what I used during the session. Once I’ve had a good look at the Fusion 360 website I will fill you in.
