My Summer Holidays Continue

Welcome back to my blog.
On Tuesday I met up with one of my primary school friends and we went into West Bromwich - New Square to do a bit of shopping and have something to eat. We started off at Kaspers the new dessert shop in West Bromwich. I had a chocolate chip cookie dough dessert, it was delicious. Then it was time to hit the shops. We ended up in Primark, where I bought a really cool jumper.

On Wednesday my mother and I ended up back in New Square in West Bromwich to have something to eat, we decided to go to Nando's. It was the first time my mum realised I was too old for the kids' menu, YESSSS!!!!. So I ended up having chicken wings and fries,

Thursday was "hair wash day" not my favourite thing to do but it has to be done. Actually, it's my mum who washes my hair, whilst I just moan - sorry mum. My mum used Bentonite clay to cleanse and treat my hair, She mixes it up herself using Bentonite clay powder, water, apple cider vinegar and extra virgin olive oil, sounds good enough to eat 😉.https://www.akomaskincare.co.uk/bentonite-clay-face-powder.html

Thursday also saw the return of my guitar lessons with Raj. Unfortunately, I haven't been practising as much as I should have been. During the session, we practised different songs and chords then we did a chord test I scored 4/6 (not that bad.).

Also what has happened to the sunshine, it looks like our glorious summer is well and truly over (my mum put the heating on today because we were cold 😐).

Dubai!!

Wow, what a week I’ve had. On Sunday the 28th of October, I left England for a holiday to Dubai. My mother, God Mother, God sister – Maya and my aunty, all met at Heathrow Airport, we were due to fly from Heathrow with Emirates airline all the way to Dubai! It was a seven-hour flight and Emirates are a fabulous airline. https://www.emirates.com The food was great, the movies were great, the staff were very friendly and the female flight attendants wore a very interesting looking hat. My mom said it was one of the best flights she’s ever been on. We finally landed in Dubai, once we cleared customers and collected our luggage we made our way outside and boy was it hot, yay! Braces!

Hey guys, It’s your girl TJC here and today I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have to get four of my teeth extracted, this is because I have too many teeth in my mouth 😩. So after I get my teeth extracted I am going to have braces fitted. I will have my retainers fitted on the 4 th of March 2019. I have been on the waiting list for a very long time - about two years, so I’m happy to get the process started. The good news is that my school has given me a Spring challenge. It’s a bunch of activities that have to be completed by the Easter half term break. We get to choose three activities. I will talk you through the three that I have chosen. The three that I will be doing are: read an autobiography about someone who inspires me, the second one is to cook an entire meal for the family and the third one is to take some clothes to a clothes bank. Happy Christmas!

At last the Christmas holidays are finally here. My school broke up a week before most schools so I got 3 weeks off. YIPEE!!! I have now completed all my Christmas shopping. My Aunty Kizzy came from London to spend the Christmas holiday with us. On Christmas Eve we made a gingerbread house that she had brought. For my Christmas dinner, I had turkey, beef, mash potatoes and purple cabbage. It was delicious and as for the drinks they were refreshing. For dessert, I had some of the gingerbread house that my aunt and I had made (or at least decorated). It tasted almost as good as it looked!
